Brilliant news on this grey and drizzly day here in Sonoma Valley. Folks who live in Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood and other communities throughout the valley are making the most of our generally sunny weather by solar-powering their homes. Check out the story published today in our local paper, the Sonoma Index Tribune:

Yeah! It's nice to see Sonoma Valley continues to lead the way in green technology! No wonder my sister loves living there! ;-)
Hi Anthony: Thanks for the comment! Where does your sister live? Have you told me about this before? If so.....my brain......oh my brain..............
Hi Kirsten, my sister lives in Sonoma on Verano Ave.
Good for Sonoma. Solar power is a bit more challening with 19 inches of snow on the ground!
Michael
Hey Michael....I lived in Alexandria, Virginia....and the greater DC area for 15 years (in another life.) I remember lots of cloudy days in the winter, spring, and summer. Fall was gorgeous! Where is your office and how big is your market?
Well deserved award. California has such ideal weather and so far ahead on being "green."
Lee and Carol: Thanks for the post. Weather today is foggy....but that's not the norm or we couldn't have won that award. The sun is always trying to break through to us here....
